Thomas 3-1 second favourite for BBC's Sports Personality of the Year award

Thomas’s success continued the remarkable record British cyclists have forged at the Tour de France, with wins in six of the last seven years.
Bradley Wiggins was the first in 2012 – the first British rider to claim victory – and he was further rewarded with the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year title, while Mark Cavendish won the award the year before after becoming the first Briton to top the points classification.
But Thomas remains 3-1 second-favourite in that market behind Harry Kane, England’s golden boot winner at the World Cup this summer, who is a 6-5 shot having been odds-on at the start of the month.
Alexander Kristoff, 7-2 second-favourite for yesterday’s stage, won the sprint on the Champs-Elysee. Peter Sagan, 1-2 ante-post favourite, topped the points classification while 50-1 shot Julian Alaphilippe was crowned King of the Mountains.
