Brighton 10-1 to finish in top half of the Premier League

Brighton had to wait 34 years to return to the top flight and bookmakers are expecting them to have a memorable first season in the Premier League after gaining promotion.
Albion beat Wigan 2-1 to seal their Premier League place and bet365 reacted by rating Brighton 4-6 to stay in the Premier League next season.
Glenn Murray got the party started at the Amex Stadium with the opener before John Swift added a second and Huddersfield’s 1-1 draw at Derby saw Chris Hughton’s side back in the top flight.
The Seagulls, who had been 4-1 ante-post to go up, can be backed at 6-4 for relegation with Coral, while Albion are 10-1 with bet365 to finish in the Premier League’s top half. Brighton can also be backed at 1-12 with Hills to finish in the bottom half of next season’s Premier League.
Newcastle lost 3-1 at Ipswich which means Brighton are seven points clear in the race for first place and could seal the Sky Bet Championship title away to Norwich on Friday.
At the other end of the table Gianfranco Zola quit as Birmingham boss after they lost 2-0 to Burton. Blues are only three points above the relegation zone.
Chesterfield, who had been 11-4 shots to be relegated ante-post, were demoted from Sky Bet League One, while Plymouth and Portsmouth celebrated promotion to that division. Argyle had been 7-2 to go up ante-post and Pompey were 11-10.
Chelsea have announced John Terry will leave the club this summer. Hills are 4-5 he signs for a Major League Soccer club and it’s 4-1 he heads to China.
