Fight preview

Sunday morning's Hollywood spectacular starring Evander Holyfield, David Haye, Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort is taking top billing this weekend, but before that there is a very decent fight in Coventry on Friday night.

Sam Eggington defends his WBC Silver middleweight title against Bilel Jkitou and it could pay to back the Savage to take the lead role.

The Brummie has been previously beaten by Ted Cheesman and Bradley Skeete, but he seems to have a renewed motivation and he has got his career back on track with wins over veterans Ashley Theophane and Carlos Molina.

The Savage is targeting a world title shot in the not-too-distant future and a win over the unbeaten Jkitou will move him a step closer to that goal.

Jkitou is yet to mix it at this level, and although he brings an unbeaten record to Coventry, it's a concern that he has managed just 15 fights at the age of 29.

The Nanterre puncher's head movement and footwork is limited and that should suit the rugged style of Eggington.

The Savage isn't going to find it difficult to hit Jkitou and he can claim victory before the final bell.
