Dereck Chisora can delight crowd with Carlos Takam upset

Dereck Chisora has been a stalwart of the British heavyweight scene for years but he remains something of an enigma, and like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates you can never be sure what you are going to get.

Vastly experienced, he has given some of the world's best heavyweights some serious tests down the years including Vitali Klitschko, David Haye, Dillian Whyte and Tyson Fury twice.

Chisora has the power to cause anyone trouble but he sometimes struggles for motivation and is prone to throwing in a stinker.

But a fight with Carlos Takam should get his juices flowing. Takam's stock is high after he put in a credible performance at short notice against Antony Joshua. Beating Takam would propel Del Boy right back into the thick of the heavyweight mix.

Londoner Chisora will have the full support of the crowd at the sold-out O2 Arena, and as a 7-4 underdog he is worth backing for the upset.

Benn v Peynaud
Conor Benn is putting together an impressive resume but the 21-year-old welterweight steps up to ten rounds for the first time in a rematch against a fighter who knocked him down twice in the first round last December.

Benn admits to being "scared" when Cedrick Peynaud had him on the canvas, but to his credit he composed himself and fought back, knocking the Frenchman down in the fifth and sixth to keep his undefeated record intact with a points win.

The lessons learned from that fight will serve Benn well in his future career, and while he has the tools to get the KO he has promised to avoid another year up.

Back him to get the stoppage in the second half of the fight.

Webb v Allen
Just one month ago Dave Allen was brutally stopped in the tenth round of a gruelling fight by 2016 Olympic super-heavyweight champion Tony Yoka, and jumping back in so soon against Nick Webb may not be the best idea.

Allen took a lot of punishment against Yoka and didn't look in great condition, battling fatigue for much of the fight.

Whyte v Parker preview

Webb may not be as skilled as Yoka but he is a big puncher, winning all of his 12 pro fights with ten KOs.

Allen is 4-1 to get the win but he could be too tough for his own good and Webb can stop him.

Taylor v Connor
Ireland's Katie Taylor is long odds-on to retain her world titles against American Kimberly Connor, who looked like a rabbit in the headlights at Thursday's press conference, but while Taylor should have few problems the chances of her winning by KO may have been overestimated.

Taylor has stopped four of her nine professional opponents, and all of her last three have gone to the scorecards after ten rounds of action.

Connor has been stopped only once - by KO specialist Amanda Serrano - and she could survive to hear the final bell.

Be careful though, as Connor hasn't fought in a year and her conditioning is unknown.
