Usyk to win by knockout
Oleksandr Usyk is 23-0 and already has a win over Daniel Dubois on his record. That win took place in Poland in 2023, but in the rematch it is Dubois who has a home advantage as this fight takes place at Wembley Stadium.
However, the Ukrainian should have no issues with being the away fighter having picked up wins over Anthony Joshua, Tony Bellew and Derek Chisora on UK soil previously in his career.
Dynamite goes into this bout after a huge victory over Anthony Joshua, but Usyk was close to perfect in his pair of wins over Tyson Fury.
The 38-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down and should be able to reclaim the IBF title – and his status as undisputed heavyweight world champion.
This is a straightforward knockout, rather than a TKO win. In an undisputed world title fight that method looks more likely – the referee will be less inclined to step in and stop the fight with so much on the line, and it is hard to imagine either corner making the decision to throw in the towel.
Usyk’s last win over Dubois was a standard knockout when the Briton failed to beat the ten-count, and a repeat could be on the cards.
Two or more total fight knockdowns
With a knockout predicted, only one more knockdown is needed to land the second leg of this Bet Builder.
Usyk goes into this bout after two highly tactical clashes with Tyson Fury, but there may be more heart-in-the-mouth action against the heavy-handed Dubois.
Dubois was knocked down twice in the first meeting between these two fighters, including in the ninth round as he suffered the second stoppage defeat of his career.
While Usyk has never officially been knocked down as a professional, he was sent to the canvas by Dubois in the fifth round of that clash with a shot that was ultimately ruled as a low blow.
Dubois scored knockdowns in rounds one, three and four in his incredible win over Anthony Joshua before stopping his compatriot in the fifth. He was also floored three times by Kevin Lerena in 2022 before recovering to win by stoppage.
The Londoner has vowed to take the fight to Usyk on Saturday and both men clearly boast plenty of power.
Under 9.5 rounds
The first few rounds of their previous clash were fairly cagey as Dubois refused to commit and Usyk was happy to outbox the challenger and build up a lead.
That fight still finished in the ninth round after exploding into life, and this one could be full throttle from the get-go.
Dubois has made no secret of the fact he intends to use his youth and speed to put pressure on his older opponent.
If the bout is fought at a higher tempo, it may well have reached a conclusion before the tenth bell rings.
