Big-fight preview
Errol Spence and Yordenis Ugas clash in a middleweight unification fight in Las Vegas in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The WBC, WBA and IBF world titles are on the line and it could pay to back Spence for a stoppage victory.
The fighter dubbed The Truth hasn’t scored a stoppage win since he beat Carlos Ocampo, is 2018, but that gives a rather false impression of the New Yorker's power.
Spence has been taken the distance by Mikey Garcia, Shawn Porter, and Danny Garcia in his last three bouts. However, Porter is the only one of that trio to have been stopped in 117 combined bouts and that came against Terrace Crawford in the final fight of Showtime's career.
Ugas has gained his best two wins in his last two fights against Manny Pacquiao and Abel Ramos, but Pac Man was a faded star by the time that bout came around and Ramos had twice been exposed at world level previously.
Spence is an elite-level fighter and at 21-10 he looks good value to see off Ugas and inflict the first stoppage defeat of the Cuban's career.
Conor Benn continues his welterweight journey against Chris van Heerden and it's likely to be a routine outing for the Destroyer.
Benn is a 1-12 shot on Saturday night and that tells you all you need to know about his limited, aged and exposed opponent.
There's a good betting heat on Sky Sports when the fast-paced Boxxer Series returns.
Eight British lightweights will battle it out and there are six unbeaten fighters in the line-up.
The pick of those looks to be Tion Gibbs, who is undefeated in eight professional bouts and won the Midlands Area lightweight title last time out.
The 27-year-old Birmingham boxer will be first out having been drawn against Eastside Gym stablemate Scott Melvin and that will ensure a greater rest between bouts as the tournament progresses.
Cori Gibbs, the older brother of Tion, won the super-lightweight version of this event in Liverpool last year and the younger of the siblings could prove a class above his Coventry rivals.
Rylan Charlton is the market-leader and he has performed with credit against Florian Marku and Luke Willis. That's the best professional form in the event and the Norwich puncher will bring plenty of heart and desire to the ring.
However, Charlton is a pretty limited boxer and he may be vulnerable to a better skill set. Joe Underwood Hughes and Melvin are the pick of the remainder.
