Boxing results and highlights
Vergil Ortiz Jr beat Erickson Lubin by TKO
Betting odds: 1-18 Ortiz Jr, 13-2 Parker, 22-1 draw.
Venue: Dickies Arena, Fort Worth, Texas
Saturday night's boxing action was highlighted by a devastating win for Vergil Ortiz Jr, who stopped Erickson Lubin inside two rounds to retain his WBC interim super welterweight title and extend his impressive record to 24-0.
Ortiz Jr delivered a series of powerful blows that led the referee to stop the fight and the Texan was in no doubt who he wants to face next, with fellow unbeaten fighter and WBA interim champion Jaron Ennis watching from the front row.
"We want to fight the best," Ortiz said in his post-fight interview. "This is the fight that has to happen, I think this is it."

Richard Riakporhe vs Tommy Welch betting predictions

The focus now switches closer to home with Saturday's blockbuster rematch between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
A stacked undercard includes Richard Riakporhe's step up to the heavyweight division to take on Tommy Welch.
Riakporhe, whose only defeat in 18 fights came in last year's cruiserweight title fight with Chris Billam-Smith, may come into this new division undercooked having fought just once since that loss.
Fellow Brit Welch should not be underestimated. He has won all 15 of his professional fights to date, so do not be surprised if we see a shock, although this will mark the biggest night of the Brighton fighter's career.
Conor Benn profile
Age: 29
Record: 23-1, 14 wins by knockout
Weight: Middleweight
Next fight: Chris Eubank Jr, November 15, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London
Fight odds: 4-7 Eubank Jr vs 6-4 Benn, 14-1 draw
Revenge will be on the mind of Conor Benn when he takes to the ring at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next Saturday after he suffered the first defeat of his career against Chris Eubank Jr back in April.
That unanimous decision loss ended a run of 23 straight wins for the Destroyer, but the contest was close and Benn, who once again steps up from welterweight to middleweight, will be confident of avenging that defeat and potentially setting up a trilogy.
A world title fight at welterweight would appear the long-term goal for Benn, who at 29 still has time on his side, and despite losing the first fight, he arguably delivered the best performance of his career against Eubank Jr.
Benn has wins over Samuel Vargas, Chris Algieri and Chris van Heerden on his CV and a victory over Eubank could open the door for a potential title shot at Mario Barrios, who holds the WBC welterweight belt.
