Nathaniel Collins v Cristobal Lorente - split-decision draw
Betting odds: Collins 2-9, Lorente 7-2, Draw 16-1.
Venue: Braehead Arena, Glasgow
Nathaniel Collins had a home Glasgow crowd on side as the Scot looked to snatch Cristobal Lorente's European featherweight title, but the Nightmare was unable to complete the job.
Collins started the contest well, dominating the opening three rounds, but the champion's relentless workrate began to tell as the contest progressed.
Lorente came on strong from halfway and outpunched and outlanded Collins. Perhaps Collins landed the better quality work, but it wasn't enough for the judges and the Spaniard retained his title.
The Nightmare looks short of world level and domestic honours look the peak for the Scot.

Arslanbek Makhmudov profile
Age: 36
Record: 20-2, 19 wins by knockout
Weight: Heavyweight
Next fight: Dave Allen, October 11 at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield
Russian giant Arslanbek Makhmudov looked to be heading for a world title following destructive victories over Mariusz Wach, Pavel Sour and Carlos Takam, the but Lion has been tamed.
The 36-year-old's career took a backward step when he was dropped three times and stopped by Agit Kabayel in 2023 and the road to recovery hasn't been smooth.
The knockout machine was again stopped by Guido Vianello last year and the one-dimensional fighter has proved short of the top-level when his power doesn't tell.
Makhmudov is at a crossroads in his career when he takes on Dave Allen in Sheffield on Saturday and it's 10-11 that the Russian can keep the dream alive by beating the White Rhino on Saturday night.
Dave Allen vs Arslanbek Makhmudov betting predictions
There's an intriguing heavyweight showdown in Sheffield on Saturday night when Dave Allen takes on Arslanbek Makhmudov.
Allen's stoppage success over Johnny Fisher has breathed new life in to a career, which looked to be over, and it's not out of the question that the Doncaster dueller could challenge for a world title if he can get past Makhmudov in the Steel City.
The Russian giant is a powerful operator, but defeats to Guido Vianello and Agit Kabayel have burst the 36-year-old's bubble and there may not be much more to come at this stage of his career.
It looks a battle between the power of Makhmudov, against the output and toughness of Allen and the Brit may win the war.
At 9-5 a chance can be take on the White Rhino to win by stoppage.
