Boxing results and highlights
There was no major professional action last week, but attention now turns to the heavyweight clash between David Allen and Arslanbek Makhmudov.
Allen rejuvenated his career with a destructive stoppage victory over Johnny Fisher in May and the Doncaster dueller will look to continue his progress against the big-hitting Makhmudov on October 11.
The White Rhino is an 11-10 chance to get the better of the Russian and promoter Eddie Hearn has hinted at a potential clash with former world champion Deontay Wilder should Allen pass the Makhmudov test.

Next fight Josh Padley, October 11, at the Sheffield Arena
Reece Bellotti has what looks like the final roll of the dice when he takes on Josh Padley in Sheffield. The Bomber was outclassed and stopped in the 12th round when losing to Ryan Garner in Bournemouth in July, but Padley appears at least capable of performing at European level.
The Watford man had previously recorded one of the best successes of his career when retiring Michael Gomez Jnr in February and Bellotti was also a good winner against Liam Dillon last year.
Those efforts suggest, that even at this stage of his career, the 34-year-old can be a dangerous opponent on the domestic scene and it would be no surprise if the South Oxhey fighter was able to go out on a high.
Padley's rating was inflated when lasting to the ninth round with the elite Shakur Stevenson in February, and while he showed plenty of heart and spirit in that contest, it was a one-way beat down for the 29-year-old.
Padley is 4-11 to win in Sheffield on October 11, but Bellotti may have enough left in the tank to make that look a short price.
