WBC super-lightweight title

Boxing fans get a Sunday night treat when Jose Ramirez makes a second defence of his WBC super-lightweight title against Jose Zepeda at the Save Mart Arena in Fresno, California.

It will be an electric atmosphere for this all-Californian scrap and both men can bang so it should be exciting.

Ramirez is undefeated after 23 fights with 16 KOs and Zepeda has a record of 30-1 (25 KOs). His one defeat was in his only previous world title fight against Britain's Terry Flanagan, when Zepeda dislocated his shoulder and was forced to retire on his stool at the end of round two.

Zepeda was floored by Carlos Diaz Ramirez last summer but came back to stop the Mexican, and this fight has all the hallmarks of a real tear-up.

Champion Ramirez starts as a big favourite with Zepeda the 5-1 underdog, but with both men possessing explosive power the best bet may be to back the fight to finish inside the 12-round distance at 11-10.

Recommendation
Fight to finish inside the distance
1pt 11-10 Coral
