Battling Jimmy Robertson could make trouble Mark Allen

Surprise results in Lommel mean favourite offers no value

Jimmy Robertson has been scrapping for all he is worth in Belgium
1 of 1

Eurosport 1, midday & 6pm Friday

Mark Allen is 2-5 to defeat Jimmy Robertson and progress to the European Masters semi-finals, but given the surprise results that have littered the best-of-seven-frames rounds the Northern Ireland ace is far from certain to continue his Belgian title charge.

Allen has seen off Ashley Hugill, Jak Jones and Ross Muir, whom he pipped 4-3 in the last 16, while Robertson has been a master of brinkmanship, posting 4-3 wins over Zhang Yong, Zhou Yuelong and Anthony McGill.

Hills quote over 5.5 frames at 8-11 and with J-Rob in fine battling mode, that may be worth taking.

Recommendation
M Allen v J Robertson over 5.5 frames
1pt 8-11 Hills
