He added that the gelding settled adequately and he was happy with his position in the early stages and on entering the straight he had to wait before manoeuvring his horse into the clear. He further added that this was the horses first run after being gelded and was still inexperienced and was keen to keep him balanced, to which he responded well in the straight.
