Graeme Rodway's play of the day at Kempton

Almosh’her
The best bet of the night at Kempton is Almosh’her in the 1m4f handicap. The Charlie Fellowes-trained colt has done plenty wrong in two starts so far, but he still managed a win and a second, and progressed with each run. There is more to come on just his third outing.
Almosh’her was well supported on his debut in a mile novice at Southwell in December and did well to beat a subsequent winner into second after making a slow start and running green.
He was unable to follow up when 6-4 favourite to defy a penalty in a 1m3f novice at this course in January, but lost out by just a head to the promising winner Amazonian. That rival was getting 12lb from Almosh’her, who did well to finish so close after pulling fiercely early.
The son of stamina influence Sea The Stars is open to loads of further improvement over another furlong here and that is especially true if he can settle better on his handicap bow.
