Monday. Another working week begins. Hang on, it is a bank holiday. Hooray!
That means there is plenty of racing to look forward to, with seven meetings in Britain and Ireland.
The best of them is at Epsom, where the Amateur Derby, Caspian Prince Handicap and Poundland Conditions Stakes take place. There is also the annual Epsom open day to look forward to.

Downpatrick - 3.00
Roscommon - 4.25
Heavy, soft in places
Hee Haw (Ripon 3.20)
8-1 (from 12)
Paul Midgley's team are in great form, and Hee Haw has his fourth start for the yard since joining from Keith Dalgleish. Although yet to fire for new connections, the three-year-old is down in grade and shaped with some promise over course and distance last time.
Mount Logan (Epsom 4.20)
5-4f (from 11-8f)
This Roger Varian-trained six-year-old has the highest official rating of the five remaining runners, and if able to replicate his most recent run when second in the Rose of Lancaster at Haydock, he should go close.
Orbasa (Cartmel 4.40)
5-2f (from 11-4f)
Paul Nicholls has only had one runner over at the fences at the track in the last five seasons, so Orbasa is a rarity for the yard. The six-year-old is consistent, although an infrequent winner. He is off a career-low mark of 127 today, and has finished in the first four on his last six starts.
What's on today
As well as good action at Epsom, there is the Listed Champion 2Yrs Old Trophy at Ripon, in which Lake Volta looks an exciting runner.
On a much lesser level, Pahente returns to the course after 999 days off. He contests the 2m½f handicap at Southwell – will it have been worth the wait?
