It was the launchpad for Anthony Van Dyck's Derby triumph in 2019 and now Aidan O'Brien is banking on the race producing another Epsom star, with long-standing Cazoo Derby favourite High Definition set to make his much-anticipated return in Saturday's Novibet Derby Trial at Lingfield.

The Galileo colt – priced between 5-2 and 3-1 for Classic glory – has dominated the ante-post Derby market since blowing away his Beresford Stakes rivals seven months ago.

That was just his second start and it was the second time he had come home powerfully to win, defying in-running highs of 99-1 on both occasions.
