Thomas Hobson, who was 7-4 favourite with Paddy Power and Betfair for the Prix du Cadran on Saturday, will miss the Longchamp Group 1, in which his trainer Willie Mullins will be represented by Max Dynamite.

Mullins said on Wednesday morning: "We've decided to keep Thomas Hobson for the Qipco British Champions Long Distance Cup at Ascot later in the month but Max Dynamite is all set for the Cadran. Andrea Atzeni will ride."

Atzeni rode the eight-year-old in the Doncaster Cup last month when he finished second to Thomas Hobson, beaten half a length.
