There are few things more sobering than when the Netflix prompt appears to ask if you are still watching a programme after multiple episodes – I believe it is designed to guilt-trip you into going outside.

Often it is a welcome reminder that perhaps watching seven hours of television until 2am might not be the best thing for one's health but with Drive To Survive, the risks were absolutely worth the rewards.

The series was successful for many reasons, most obviously because it followed a high-octane, visually compelling sport in an inventive way, providing behind-the-scenes action catering to all audiences.
