A juvenile star could be unearthed as the week begins with the Listed Two Yrs Old Trophy (3.55) at Ripon, where Super Sprint hero Bettys Hope will face Windsor Castle second Platinum Star and the consistent Oh Purple Reign among others.

Epsom stages a seven-race card, headlined by the £19,000 Doggy Dash Handicap (3.05), which sees 2013 Epsom Dash winner Duke Of Firenze return to the scene of his finest triumph. While the amateur riders enjoy their day in the sun in the Amateurs' Derby Handicap (3.40).

Tuesday

Quality action at Epsom continues with the Terry Mills & John Akehurst Handicap (3.15), while Bath and Musselburgh also stage Flat cards.

Wednesday

There is a decent seven-race card at Catterick, while Lingfield and Musselburgh also race on the Flat during the afternoon.

As evening draws in, Bellewstown, Worcester and Kempton start a mixed bag of action.

Thursday

The best of the action comes from Tipperary, with the Group 3 Fairy Bridge Stakes (6.25) headlining the meeting.

The 7½f contest could see the return of Group 1 winner Skitter Scatter, who hasn't been seen since she injured herself in the 1,000 Guineas. One Master came home in front last year and subsequently landed the Prix de la Foret.

The Listed Abergwaun Stakes (6.55) follows where another top-class horse could make his seasonal reappearance in the shape of the Darren Bunyan-trained Hit The Bid, a Group 3 winner and Meydan carnival regular.

Bellewstown stages racing over jumps, while it is a busy day in Britain with Ffos Las, Chelmsford, Carlisle, Fontwell and Sedgefield in action.

Friday

The Irish action continues at the forefront with the Curragh hosting the Group 3 Snow Fairy Fillies Stakes (6.20) and Irish Cambridgeshire (6.50), which will warm racing fans up for the weekend.

The £20,000 Theakston Legendary Ales Best Bitter Handicap (3.40) at Thirsk looks sure to be a competitive affair, while progressive handicappers will lock horns in the Ladbrokes Lanark Silver Bell Handicap (6.55) at Hamilton.

Exciting Juddmonte-bred colt Tempus could run at Sandown (3.50), with Newcastle, Wolverhampton and Bangor also racing.

Saturday

Won by Raven's Pass (2007), Kingman (2013), Masar (2017) and Too Darn Hot (2018) in recent years, the Group 3 Solario Stakes at Sandown is the highlight, with the Atalanta Stakes – which is also a Group 3 – ranking as the supporting race.

All-weather action comes thick and fast with Chelmsford, Wolverhampton and Lingfield staging cards, while Newton Abbot hosts a jumps card.

Sunday

Group 1 action takes place in Germany with the Grosser Preis von Baden, a race won by subsequent Caulfield Cup winner Best Solution last year.
