What's on this week: Goodwood's Celebration Mile spearheads busy week of action

Monday
Tom O'Brien rode his 1,000th winner in Britain and Ireland on Sunday and could reach the same milestone just in Britain when he partners two runners at Stratford, most notably Pointed And Sharp (6.05).
Stratford is one of four meetings in Britain alongside Flat fixtures at Brighton, Chepstow and Ripon, while the Irish action comes from Ballinrobe where 162-rated chaser Ballyoisin is the star name (7.15).
Tuesday
A busy start to the week continues with six fixtures in Britain and Ireland. Bangor is the odd one out as the only jumps card of the day, with the afternoon Flat action coming from Musselburgh and Yarmouth.
A mile handicap featuring Afaak, King Ottokar and the unexposed Troll Peninsula is the highlight on Newbury's evening card (5.45), while last year's smart juvenile Albasheer makes his return in a conditions event at Salisbury (6.05). An evening meeting at Bellewstown completes the day's offering.
Wednesday
Holymacapony could be an interesting contender at Bellewstown (6.15) as the track switches codes for a seven-race jumps card. The Henry de Bromhead-trained five-year-old has not won since beating subsequent two-time Grade 1 winner Gaillard Du Mesnil on debut under rules at Punchestown in November.

The other afternoon meetings come from Catterick, Lingfield and Musselburgh with Kempton and Wolverhampton providing the evening action.
Thursday
The Group 3 Fairy Bridge Stakes (6.00) headlines a high quality evening of Flat action at Tipperary which also includes the Listed Abergwaun Stakes (6.30).
The Racing League heads to Lingfield for its penultimate week, with the rest of the day's meetings scheduled for Carlisle, Chelmsford, Ffos Las and Sedgefield.

Friday
The Group 3 Snow Fairy Stakes (5.15) has been split between Aidan O'Brien, Joseph O'Brien, Dermot Weld and Jessica Harrington in the last decade and all four trainers could be represented in the feature contest for fillies at the Curragh.
The Paddy Power Irish Cambridgeshire Premier Handicap (6.45) is another highlight on the card.
The Keith Dalgleish-trained Platinumcard could attempt to complete a four-timer in Hamitlon's £33,500 Silver Bell handicap (6.40).
Goodwood's three-day fixture over Bank Holiday weekend begins, while there are also meetings at Down Royal, Ffos Las, Newmarket and Thirsk on a busy day.
Saturday
The second day at Goodwood is more high profile and provides part of ITV's offering including the Group 2 Celebration Mile (3.35) worth £125,000. Last year's winner Century Dream is among the early entries.
Two Group 3s, the £100,000 March Stakes (3.00) and £60,000 Prestige Stakes (1.50), also take place on a valuable card.

The ITV cameras will also broadcast Listed action from Newmarket and Beverley, although they will not be at Windsor for the Group 3 Winter Hill Stakes (6.30).
Redcar and Cartmel are the other options for racegoers in Britain, while the sole Irish action is at Navan.
Sunday
The Group 3 Supreme Stakes (4.00) completes a super three days of racing at Goodwood. It is a race the Hannon family have done well in with four wins since 2009.
Beverley and Yarmouth also stage Flat cards in Britain, while Hukum is set to be among the British raiders in the Grand Prix de Deauville.
