Wetherby holding morning check for Tuesday card
Tuesday's jumps card at Wetherby must pass an 8am inspection on the morning of racing, with officials optimistic the track will be fit for racing.
An inspection was held on Monday morning, and clerk of the course Jonjo Sanderson wants to have another look on Tuesday, with one area of the course causing concern.
"I thought having had five millimetres of sleety rain on Sunday we'd be in a worse state this morning than we were," Sanderson said on Monday.
"We've got a dry day forecast with a bit of a breeze, but we have also got a bit of rain forecast this evening. Down the bottom of the back straight where both courses converge, that area is just about raceable, but in 24 hours it will have either improved dramatically or potentially got worse."
