Soft options: three horses who will relish the rain at Chester on Wednesday
With the ground softening all the time at Chester, today's Live Tipster Pietro Innocenzi picks out three horses whose connections will be rejoicing at the rain . . .
La Voix Magique
2.25 Chester
La Voix Magique clearly appreciated conditions that had turned desperate when winning at Haydock 11 days ago. Although she may lack the potential of a few of her rivals - and has a wide draw to contend with - the bare form isn't far off what some in here have achieved on fast ground yet who are much shorter in the betting.
Dave Dexter
3.00 Chester
Dave Dexter is pretty much a confirmed mudlark, with last season's Listed win coming on heavy ground at Ayr. He's another who could have done better with the draw, but he goes really well fresh and the fact the horse drawn immediately on his inside is a front-runner should help.
Sneaky Peak
4.05 Chester
Sneaky Peek travelled noticeably well on soft ground on her debut at Newbury when second to Katiesheidinlisa, who followed up. It looks as though she may take after her half-brother Look My Way, who loves to get his toe in, and she probably wouldn't have to improve much on that opening effort to have a big shout here from a favourable draw in stall 1.
