Nicky Henderson raves over 'frightening' Constitution Hill workouts
Nicky Henderson is brimming with confidence as he looks to take the wraps off jumping's newest superstar at Ascot on Saturday, describing Constitution Hill as a freak whose work had been "as frightening as last season" in the build-up to his first run of the campaign.
There is one last hurdle for the Michael Buckley-owned five-year-old to clear before lining up at the weekend, with Henderson set to check the ground is suitable at Ascot.
Constitution Hill is unbeaten in three starts under rules and is the name on most people's lips as the jumps season cranks into top gear. He is entered in the Coral Hurdle (2.40) as he sets out on the road towards the Unibet Champion Hurdle, for which he is 5-4 favourite after his jaw-dropping display in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle last season.
