After the worst Derby performance this century by the fancied runners, which flops might still be worth following?

What a dismal Derby it was for the big-name contenders, as bad as any I can remember. For the last three weeks, the market was focused on four horses: Delacroix, Ruling Court, The Lion In Winter and Pride Of Arras. None of them ended up in the first eight.

Worse, none of them even threatened to get involved. Delacroix, sent off at just 2-1, had a decent early position but got squeezed out between Pride Of Arras and Al Wasl Storm on the uphill run and soon had only two behind him. 

He made up some places in the straight until reaching the end of his stamina. There are probably no circumstances in which he could have won this but things went wrong for him. He doesn't need to be tried beyond a mile and a quarter again.
