Roger Varian has quietly joined the King Power roster this year and has recently taken delivery of this ex-Irish-trained youngster, who is the only horse in training to have beaten Aidan O'Brien's Arizona. The son of Equiano was transferred from Paddy Twomey after disappointing in the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot where he pulled too hard, but there was no sign of that in some easy work on the Al Bahathri and he may appear at Goodwood.
