Athena, winner of the Grade 1 Belmont Invitational Oaks last month, will be chasing another top level success in the US on Saturday as one of four runners for Ballydoyle at Arlington Park.

The daughter of Camelot will be attempting to give Aidan O'Brien a first win in the Beverly D Stakes, although rider Ryan Moore has previously won the contest with Dank (2012) and Euro Charline (2013). Moore will also partner Deauville in the Arlington Million and Hunting Horn in the Secretariat Stakes.

O'Brien, who has sent out two winners of the Million – Powerscourt (2005) and Cape Blanco (2011) – said yesterday: "Deauville is a good hardy horse who has plenty of travelling done. He's won a Grade 1 in the US and is in good form."

Hunting Horn, winner of the Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot in June, was last seen finishing third in the Belmont Invitational Derby will be joined in the Secretariat line-up by stablemate Lucius Tiberius, the mount of Wayne Lordan.

O'Brien will be bidding for a fifth Secretariat Stakes win. He first landed the one and a quarter mile event for three-year-olds with Ciro in 2000 before wins with Treasure Beach (2011), Highland Reel (2013) and Adelaide (2014).
