Two lucky punters out to land bonus fund in feature at Haydock
Frost may have altered the format of today's Scoop6 but it was River Frost who gave two anonymous punters the life-changing windfall of £444,071 each in last weekend's Tote-sponsored bet.
Both ticket holders now get a shot at the handsome £283,793 bonus fund where they are tasked with picking the winner of the Peter Marsh Handicap Chase (3.15), the feature of five races included from Haydock. Owing to the likelihood of Ascot being off, the third leg of the bet is a handicap from Lingfield (2.35).
This week’s win fund will start at £113,517 and could well top £200,000 before the first race at 12.55pm.
Totepool Marketing Manager, Adam Smith, said: “Luck was certainly with our two anonymous punters last week and if one of them can continue that run in the bonus race, they’ll take their total haul to nearly £750,000."
He added: "Ahead of this weekend’s totescoop6, we would like players to be aware of the following rule change in the event of an abandoned race. If any Scoop6 leg is not run, the win fund will be made up solely of money invested on the day. Any money brought forward from previous rollovers will not be played for."
