Don’t call it a comeback. In cricketing terms Hayley Turner is back in the nets ahead of her Test match that is the Shergar Cup at Ascot next month.

Days after declaring she wanted to get her race-riding eye back in, Turner comes out of retirement with three rides at Newmarket today.

Just over eight months ago, 251 days to be exact, Turner rode her last race after announcing her shock retirement at the age of 32.
