The day in a nutshell: going updates and market movers for Tuesday

Two former Triumph Hurdle winners go head to head in Roscommon's novice chase (7.40) in the form of Farclas and Ivanovich Gorbatov.

The pair has both been in the wilderness of late but the Gordon Elliott-trained Farclas appears to have been rejuvenated since going chasing – he is now two from two over fences.

For Joseph O'Brien's enigmatic charge, he appeared less than enthused when beaten 57 lengths by Wicklow Brave on his chase debut last time but is another runner who is more than capable on his day.

Elsewhere, Salisbury and Lingfield host afternoon Flat fixtures in Britain, while Thirsk and Carlisle provide evening entertainment alongside Roscommon.
