Could this be Princess Yaiza's reward for bumping into stars all season?

She began her campaign against Mendelssohn at Dundalk. He won the UAE Derby at Meydan by more than 18 lengths on his next start.

The daughter of Casamento was then third to Mary Tudor in a Listed race at Navan, before filling the same spot behind Magic Wand and subsequent Oaks heroine Forever Together in the Cheshire Oaks.

Surely a Listed contest at Newbury would be easier? Wrong. Sea Of Class was in there and Princess Yaiza had to settle for third again.

She was pitched in against the boys last time in a premier handicap at Galway and came up only a neck short. She was a length and a quarter in front of Limini, who won a hot premier handicap at Leopardstown on Saturday.

Every single piece of her form stacks up so excuses won't wash this time. She is the highest-rated runner in the race with a mark of 103 and we already know she handles Galway and stays the trip.

Perhaps Princess Yaiza's biggest threat will come in the shape of Luca Cumani's first Galway runner, Alwaysandforever, who has been a model of consistency all season. There was no shame in finishing fourth behind Lah Ti Dar at York last time.

Watch out for Weld

Dermot Weld has won this Listed prize for two of the last three years with Almela (2016) and Zhukova (2017), and it is worth noting that he did not have a runner in 2015. This time around he relies on Romiyna.

What they say

Joseph O'Brien, trainer of Flicker Flame, High Language, Baby Pink and Dynabee
Dynabee should be suited by this step up in trip and she has some good form in the book already. We are looking for more black type for her. High Language is having her first run since May and will come on for it. She's in good form though. Flicker Flame won her maiden nicely at Roscommon. This is obviously a big step up in class but hopefully she will cope. Baby Pink won really well at Listowel last week and she will love the ground and the trip. It's a big ask, however. Hopefully she might be able to sneak some black type.

Dessie McDonogh, trainer of Morga
She seems to like it around Galway. She has never won there but she has some good runs to her name and was fifth in a Galway Hurdle. She ran well last time at the Curragh and I don't think she will mind the ground at all.

Harry Rogers, trainer of Remarkable Lady
She was second in the race last year and I don't think she is any worse a mare now than she was then. The heavy rain that is forecast will be right up her street and if she was placed again that would be great.

Gavin Cromwell, trainer of Princess Yaiza
Her form stacks up well with Sea Of Class and others, and even Limini, who was behind her last time, won at the weekend. This looks a nice opportunity for her. She has form at the track over the trip and the forecast rain won't bother her. We are putting cheekpieces on just to help her concentrate better.
