Warm temperatures and sunny weather is forecast across Britain making perfect conditions for a day at the races on Tuesday and there is plenty to get stuck into on a day where the jumps outnumbers the Flat in Britain.

The Flat makes a strong start at Beverley and Chepstow with just Sedgefield over the jumps but in the evening it is all jumping at Ffos Las and Southwell. Wincanton's scheduled meeting was abandoned because of firm ground.

It's even in Ireland with Tramore hosting a seven-race afternoon meeting over the jumps before the scenic Killarney hosts a Flat card starting at 5.20.

The best, in official class rating terms, is saved late with Southwell serving up on the only Class 3 race (6.40), a 1m7½f handicap chase.
