Following a busy afternoon's racing at Newbury, Ludlow and Lingfield, Dundalk and Newcastle take over for the evening's action. Here are three runners to note.

I'll Be Brief
4.30 Newcastle

The Julie Camacho-trained filly has started slowly on both her two starts to date but still finished respectably, particularly when not beaten far in third last time out over course and distance. She is a half-sister to five winners on the Flat and, if she can break slightly quicker today, could easily build on the promise of her first two starts.

Lucky Lodge
7.15 Newcastle

Antony Brittain's eight-year-old drops in class and trip after finishing down the field at Wolverhampton last time. A course-and-distance winner on his penultimate start, the gelding relishes big fields and has generally proved to be consistent of late.

The drop down to six furlongs is another plus and there is no reason why he can't run well again from stall four.

Wajaaha
7.30 Dundalk

The well-bred son of New Approach, a half-brother to two winners, have been remarkably consistent in six starts without getting his head in front.

Second on four of those starts, the gelding now wears cheekpieces for the first time this evening in a bid to sharpen him up and there has to be every chance he will break his maiden at the seventh attempt.
