Chelmsford hosts tonight's action with an eight-race card beginning at 5.15. Here are three horses worth keeping an eye on . . .

Dubai Warrior
5.15 Chelmsford

It's safe to say John Gosden has enjoyed a fantastic season and tonight he unleashes the regally-bred Dubai Warrior in the opening mile novice contest.

The son of Dansili, who is the third foal of Group 2 winner Mahbooba, is yet another Gosden horse to make his debut on the all-weather – Enable and Without Parole did so too – and he also holds an entry for next year's Derby.

Brasca
6.15 Chelmsford

The Ralph Beckett-trained colt showed plenty of promise on debut at Leicester in September when finishing second to the Mark Johnston-trained Desert Friend.

Desert Friend franked the form when winning at Kempton last month and there's every chance this son of Nathaniel can show improvement from his first run for the in-form Beckett.

Glendevon
6.45 Chelmsford

This Cheveley Park-owned runner has yet to win in five starts this year but showed improvement for a gelding operation when second last time out over course and distance.

A repetition of that run, or his fourth behind subsequent St James Palace Stakes winner Without Parole in a Listed contest at Sandown, would see him go close this evening. Connections must be hopeful of another bold performance from the son of Scat Daddy.
