Three fixtures to look forward to this evening with the all-weather action atKempton taking us through to nearly 9pm. Here are three runners to keep an eye out for

6.05 Naas

While big sister Enable is hogging the spotlight this week as she prepares to make her long-awaited comeback at Kempton on Saturday, Centroid gets his chance to shine this evening.

The three-year-old made a good impression when winning his debut at Leopardstown last month and holds an entry in the Comer Group International Irish St Leger next weekend.

Centroid takes on four rivals in this 1m4f conditions contest, two of which are rated in the 90s, and we will be able to get a good guide as to his future prospects after this race.

Peggie Sue
6.55 Leicester

A quick turnaround for Peggie Sue after she backed up her trainer Adam West’s hunch that an uphill 5f was just what she needed when winning at Sandown on Thursday.

Bred by former Racing & Football Outlook editor Sean Gollogly and leased to the West Racing Partnership, Peggie Sue was raised 7lb for her two-length win at 25-1 but races here with a 6lb penalty.

Peggie Sue faces some tough opponents, but she is on a roll having finished a close second at Brighton three starts ago before winning at Wolverhampton and then Sandown.

Alfredo
7.45 Kempton

In December 2016 Alfredo swept through under jockey George Baker to win his fourth all-weather contest of the year and maintain his unbeaten record on the surface.

His style and class evoked memories of Litigant, another talented all-weather stayer trained by Seamus Durack, and it was expected Alfredo would follow a similar path to the Marathon Final on All-Weather Championships Finals Day. Unfortunately, injury intervened.

Alfredo has been off the course for 615 days but remains an intriguing individual if he is able to recapture his form of two years ago. He is lightly raced, so it cannot be out of the question.
