The best racingon Wednesday takes place this evening, with action from Leicester (RUK), Naas (ATR) and Sandown (RUK) . . .

6.20 Sandown

Laura Kenny, who runs in this 5f fillies' maiden, is no sort of name for a horse. It is better suited to a human who is exceptionally fast ontwo wheels, rather than a horse who appears exceptionally slow on four legs.

A more likely winner is Heartwarming, who is a half-sister to Royal Ascot-winning juvenile Heartache. This evening we'll find out if she can build on a promising debut effort over the same course and distance.

Blue Uluru
7.15 Naas

Blue Uluru was fourth last time out when a beaten favourite in the Rockingham but must have a good chanceof getting back to winning ways here.

She shaped like she was certainly up to this level when winning off a mark of 96 two starts ago and the start before that she clocked the most impressive Topspeed figure in the field.

8.50 Naas

When it comes to making an entrance, even Paris Hilton could learn something from Kerineya.

She showed up fashionably late for her racecourse debut, not making it to the course until midway through her three-year-old campaign, wearing the exact same silks – bar a change of hat– as the 11-8 favourite, who she then had the audacity to upstagein the finish.

Shelannga has won her sole start since, but the way Kerineya travelled all over her and then won going away created a favourable impression and it will be interesting to see what she does next.
