Tonight's action: three horses to look out for at Kempton

Kempton's seven-race card starts at 5.45
1 of 1

It’s that time of year when we are back down to one evening meeting with Kempton staging a seven-race card starting at 5.45. Here are three horses to note . . .

Coverham6.45 Kempton

326411– the form of James Eustace’s handicapper Coverham at Kempton.

The Blue Peter Racing 15-owned four-year-old is a model of consistency and rated 1lb above his last winning mark.

He looks to have solid claims with Luke Morris– successful when partnering Coverham previously at this track– on board.

Wohileh7.15 Kempton

Owen Burrows enjoyed a winner with his first runner in three weeks at Leicester on Tuesday after giving his horses a break in what has proved a frustrating season for the Lambourn trainer.

Naqaawa’s success suggested his string are back in good order and Wohileh makes plenty of appeal in the1m4f fillies’ novice stakes.

The Cape Cross filly, owned by Ahmed Al Maktoum, has finished second on her two starts but was only denied by a neck at Windsor last time.

Hughie Morrison’s Quicksand, third behind Lah Ti Dar on her only start, is the main danger.

Grace’s Secret8.45 Kempton

Ed Walker has enjoyed nine winners from 29 runners in the last fortnight and runs Grace’s Secret in the concluding mile handicap.

The three-year-old filly was never involved at Windsor last time but takes a drop into 0-65 company and switches to the all-weather.

Squire and Oskemen are at the head of the market, although the latter will have to overcome the widest draw in stall 14.Kempton card
