Three to note for tonight's racing at Wolverhampton
Wolverhampton picks up the evening shift on Saturday and here are three of the more interesting runners on the seven-race card. . .
Road To Dubai 5.45
Significant for more than just the fact that he is Hayley Turner's first ride back from her betting ban. In one sense, the George Scott-trained colt is a tricky customer who will soon blow off any cobwebs, but Turner has already shown that she can handle him, at least when match-fit, having won twice on him in the autumn.
Road To Dubai is also returning from a break, having last been seen on the turf. This will represent just a third start on the all-weather and, while previous runs offered little in terms of black and white, they came early in his career and he did show promise here on just his second run.
Breathless Times 7.15
The four-runner 6f novice event contains some of the more interesting runners on the night, chief among them Breathless Times who has made an encouraging start to his career this winter.
Second when relatively well fancied at Kempton on his debut in December, around three weeks later he went one better over this course and distance, beating Grandfather Tom by almost three lengths. That one has since gone on the rampage, winning two novice events and a handicap off 77, so Breathless Times looks a bit of a standout here on form.
Bint Arcano 7.45
This mare was in good order during the summer of 2017, winning twice off a mark as high as 84. She's 6lb higher now, but made a decent fist of her comeback in January when fourth over the extended mile at this course.
Sensibly given time after that run, she returns to 7f now, the distance of those wins at Catterick and Doncaster and can be expected to strip fitter. Highly capable apprentice Callum Rodriguez, who was on board last time, takes off a handy 3lb too.
