There's plenty of racing to get stuck into this evening, with Kempton hosting an eight-race card and Dundalk putting on seven, and here are three runners worth noting

Kelly's Dino

This is a competitive affair but Kelly's Dino has performed with great credit at a higher level of late, finishing runner-up over course and distance on his last two runs, and he looks sure to launch another bold bid.

Kelly's Dino was only narrowly denied by Crowned Eagle in the prestigious Rosebery Handicap last time, a horse who was considered good enough to contest the Derby last season. On Racing Post Ratings Kelly's Dino ran as well as he ever has, and if the application of blinkers can conjure further improvement he should prove difficult to beat.

Ragtime Red

The unexposed Ragtime Red took a step forward on his handicap debut in February and the stiffer test of stamina could yet unlock further improvement. Ragtime Red raced at five and six furlongs in maidens but improved for the step up to a mile last time, and the way he ran on late to finish fourth suggests there is more to come over 1m2½f. Champion jockey Colin Keane taking over in the saddle is another obvious plus.

New Rich

New Rich has a good record at Kempton and arrives on the back of a creditable close-up third over course and distance last month. The veteran sprinter has been raised 3lb for that performance but proved competitive off higher marks last season and, given that he has finished out of the frame only once from his last seven starts, he looks sure to give another good account.
