Three runners to note from tonight's cards at Lingfield and Salisbury
If all the Flat action this afternoon wasn't enough for you, then there's a double helping for dessert this evening at Lingfield and Salisbury. Here's three runners it could be worth noting.
Trouble And Strife
Sir Mark Prescott is in superb form this month with 18 winners already on the board, and Trouble And Strifehas provided two of them.
The three-year-old filly is a two-time winner at the track, over 1m3½f, and tries 1m6f for the first time this evening. She is not a certainty to stay on pedigree, but has been shaping like it won't be a problem.
A three-time winner already this year, Spot Lite has done well for connections, and might not be done with yet.
Last time out at Redcar 6f proved too far for him, so coming back to the minimum trip should be a plus, and trainer Rod Millman has sent out two winners this week.
Having made his debut for Hugo Palmer earlier in the month, Gratified was promptly snapped up for 21,000 guineas at the sales, and now starts off for Archie Watson.
The three-year-old should have a fitness edge over main market rival Dixieland Diva, who is returning from just over a year off, and Watson is in great form.
