Trained by John Gosden for Anthony Oppenheimer, the owner of Golden Horn and Cracksman, the eye is instantly drawn to this well-bred filly as she makes her debut in the mile maiden.

A 240,000gns half-sister to Cannock Chase, she has been very strong in the market (1-2 from 11-8) and appears to be the stable's first string with Robert Havlin aboard and Kieran O'Neill on Baltic Song.

This three-year-old filly has shown steady improvement for Marco Botti, culminating in her best run last time over course and distance.

She chased home an in-form sort two weeks ago and should give another good account with Luke Morris taking over in the saddle.

Archie Watson has proved a dab hand at improving horses obtained from other yards and Choice Encounter could be set to strike on his second start for the trainer since moving from Michael Bell.

He ran an encouraging race when third on stable debut at the course two weeks ago and a big run can be expected with cheekpieces equipped for the first time.
