It was a busy afternoon with meetings at Ascot, Gowran Park, Haydock, Huntingdon and Lingfield, but this evening Wolverhampton is the only show in town. If you are staying in this Saturday here are three horses to watch.

Najib 7.15 Wolverhampton

Saeed Bin Suroor has sent out 44 winners from 125 runners at Wolverhampton and that 35 per cent strike-rate is better than any trainer with a runner there tonight. Bin Suroor has his string in great form, with three winners from his last seven, including a two-year-old debutant winner at Wolverhampton last week, so this son of Invincible Spirit merits watching.

Teresita Alvarez 8.15 Wolverhampton

Jeremy Noseda also does well at Wolverhampton, where he has a 23 per cent strike-rate (14 from 62) with handicap debutants and this makes Teresita Alvarez of interest. An eighth and two fifth-placed efforts have resulted in a mark of 67, and given Paul and Susan Roy parted with €270,000 for the privilege of having her run in their silks, you would hope that mark is workable at the very least. Back up in trip she is one to watch.

Lucky Lodge 8.45 Wolverhampton

Bin Suroor and Noseda may have good records at Wolverhampton but they are not in the same league as Lucky Lodge, who has won six of his 22 starts at the track and five of those have come from 17 starts over today's distance of 7f36y. He has never won off today's mark of 67, but he has twice won off 65 and, given he has won two of his last three starts, is clearly in good form.
