Hard work and doing your job to the best of your ability. Dedication to the sport also takes you a long way and, of course, love of horses.

How important are these awards?
Massively important as it puts the people behind the scenes in the front of everyone's mind. Even to get a nomination means a lot and they are a fantastic initiative. At this time of the year it's hard work getting up and going home in the dark and the awards act as a big incentive for the lads and lasses to better themselves every day.
