- CLOSED DOORS: All race meetings in Britain from Tuesday until at least the end of March will take place behind closed doors, the BHA has ordered.
- CALLED OFF: The Grand National meeting has been cancelled by the Jockey Club because of the growing coronavirus threat.
- BIG HIT: Bookmaker share prices plunged again on Monday with warnings of a £100m hit on earnings from some big firms.
- OUT OF OFFICE: The BHA has been forced to shut down its head office in High Holborn in central London after a small number of suspected cases of coronavirus among staff.
