Soliloquy looks a solid Guineas contender

The royal blue silks of Godolphin look to have a great chance of coming home in front in the Qipco 1,000 Guineas for the first time since Blue Bunting's success in 2011 with Soliloquy an easy winner of the Group 3 Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket on Wednesday.

She proved she handled the track well in her length and three-quarter victory, is not a complicated ride and boasts an impressive turn of foot, which is exactly what you need to win the first Classic of the year.
