There was a shock result in the First Lady Stakes at Keeneland on Saturday as Tepin's eight-race winning streak was brought to an end in a bizarre contest, in which 29-1 winner Photo Call was given far too much rope by her rivals.

Already a Grade 1 winner in her own right over a mile and a quarter, Photo Call was sent straight to the front from the outside stall by Kent Desormeaux, who was allowed to establish a clear lead and was fully ten lengths ahead at the far turn.

Tepin was asked to make a move by Julien Leparoux but Photo Call was still eight lengths to the good at the head of the stretch and never looked like being overhauled.
