I think last year's Derby winner will improve plenty from three to four as he's such a big horse, one who was only going to do well over the winter. He's a monster and I have a huge opinion of him.

That also goes for , who was awesome in the Lockinge on his seasonal reappearance. He's unbeaten and looks a top horse at a mile, but it could be quite exciting if he runs over a mile and a quarter later in the year.

, like Baaeed, runs in the Shadwell blue and only had one bad run last year. He's very talented and has started to relax as well, which is good to see.

I was impressed by in the Dante and I think he's got a lot of class – he's a beautiful horse.

I don't know how was beaten twice at two, but she's been excellent this year and how good was she in the Irish 1,000 Guineas? The fillies behind her came into the race with solid form and had shown their ability; I was blown away by that performance.

We don't know an awful lot about the Japanese horse , but he was brilliant in the Sheema Classic and that form has worked out with Alenquer winning the Tattersalls Gold Cup. I think he's a superstar and it'll be interesting see how he goes, while is a firm fan favourite and I think he'll improve from the Yorkshire Cup as it's not easy getting older horses fit.

There isn't much rain on the horizon for Royal Ascot, which might rule Trueshan out of the Gold Cup and Stradivarius on fast ground is a tough horse to beat at any distance.

I saw work recently and he's absolutely flying. There'll be plenty of opportunities for him to win this year and I'm leaving out Native Trail and Coroebus, but including , who is a straightforward, honest horse. He could thrive if he avoids his Charlie Appleby-trained stablemates, while his three-year-old allowance against older horses over a mile and a quarter will be really helpful.

ran well when fourth in the 1,000 Guineas on ground a little too quick and over a trip a bit sharp, but she's a top-class filly who can make her mark if sticking to her own sex.
