David Egan has recently been appointed an ambassador for Great British Racing and before taking up his public duties on the Rowley Mile on Saturday got a decent tune out of top sprinter Dragon Symbol on the neighbouring watered gallop.

The classy grey joined Roger Varian from Archie Watson over the winter and is set for his first start out of Carlburg Stables in the Group 2 Duke Of York Stakes at York on May 11.
