Tanzeel backed for repeat success in Sky Bet Dash

Tanzeel, who has options at both York and Ascot on Saturday, was the horse for money yesterday in the Sky Bet Dash on the Knavesmire, a race he won impressively 12 months ago.

The Charlie Hills-trained five-year-old, who quickened smartly to beat Shore Step by two lengths last year, was cut to 7-1 clear favourite (from 8) by the race sponsor and bet365.

Only 2lb higher in the handicap now after defeats at York, Ayr, Ascot and Newmarket, Tanzeel has principally been competing over seven furlongs since his Dash victory over six.
