Three-time bumper winner Prince D'Aubrelle returns from a 276-day absence for this Listed contest in which his trainer Willie Mullins is also represented by four-year-old filly La Sorelita.

The lightly raced nine-year-old has been the victim of training problems throughout his career but, having been off the track for more than two and a half years after winning a Tipperary bumper in October 2015, scored on his hurdling debut over the same course in May of last year.

He has not run since that win and Mullins said: "Prince D'Aubrelle is a horse we've always liked a lot. He was ready to run at Leopardstown last weekend but we took him out as the ground was a bit too quick.

"He's always had plenty of ability and, hopefully, he'll show some of that."

Of La Sorelita, Mullins added: "She was a bit disappointing last time, but with only 10st 2lb on her back she's getting weight from her five rivals and should have a decent chance."

Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott: both saddle two runners

Gordon Elliott will also be doubly represented thanks to Down Royal maiden winner Chosen Mate and Tintangle, whose last two runs were in Graded company.

Elliott said: "Chosen Mate won nicely last time. This will be a sterner test but we've been happy with him since Down Royal and we think he has come on for the run.

"Tintangle was disappointing in a Grade 3 last time, but the form she showed when third in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown in December would put her in with a decent chance. She's wearing cheekpieces for the first time."

Henry de Bromhead: trainer of Sinoria

Like La Sorelita, Sinoria runs in the colours of Kenny Alexander, chief executive of GVC, but is instead trained by Henry de Bromhead.

The six-year-old mare won a 2m4f maiden hurdle by 13 lengths at Down Royal in December, and De Bromhead said: "She's a smart mare and is in good form. She won nicely at Down Royal and hopefully the drop in trip won't be an issue."
