Former champion Neil Mulholland bids to replicate past Jersey success
Neil Mulholland returns to the island where he was once crowned champion with a string of runners chasing victory at Les Landes' Sunday fixture which kicks off at 2.30.
The trainer has enjoyed considerable success in Jersey and in 2014 became the first British-based trainer to top the local championship, while he twice landed the Channel Islands Champion Hurdle.
Tom Scudamore will mix codes when partnering two of Mulholland's raiders when he partners Master Burbidge in the opening handicap hurdle guiding Masquerade Bling over 7f.
"It's the first time we've had runners in Jersey this year but it's always a fun place to be and it's great that Tom is coming over as well," said Mulholland.
"Several of my owners asked to go and we're all looking forward to it. We're not sending anything particularly special but you always get looked after very well there and it's well worth a visit."
Seamus Mullins, Natalie Lloyd-Beavis and Johnny Farrelly are also represented on the card.
