Sue Dunlop, wife of the late Classic-winning trainer John Dunlop and mother to two more leading handlers in Ed and Harry, has died at the age of 81.
The couple were married in 1965 and Sue Dunlop was a constant and invaluable presence at Castle Stables until her husband's retirement in 2012.
The Dunlops had three children but suffered the tragic loss of their eldest son Tim in a Chantilly car accident in 1987.
John Dunlop died in July 2018 and Sue is survived by her two sons, Ed and Harry.
The funeral will take place at 12pm on February 14 at St Mary the Virgin Church in Burpham, near Arundel in West Sussex. All mourners and floral tributes are welcome.
